Autumn Brook Angling's NJ fly selections are flies carefully chosen for use on particular New Jersey waters. For many different reasons, not all of our streams fish alike and fly selection must vary in order to be successful. These patterns have been selected over decades of trial and error.

Currently we are offering selections for the following streams and conditions:

NEW : New Jersey Winter Trout Selection
South Branch of the Raritan
(Ken Lockwood Gorge)

• Big Flatbrook(Coming Soon)
• Pequest River(Coming Soon)

20 flies, 5 different patterns (4 each)

• B&B Midge Larva (size 16)
• Olive Caddis Larva (size 14)
• Early Black Stone (size 12)
• Trutta Tartare (trout sized Glo-Bug)
• February Red Soft-Hackle (size 14)

The New Jersey Winter Trout Selection is comprised of five flies we would not want to be without during the winter season(November thru March). Trout do continue to actively feed throughout the winter and these five patterns do a great job of imitating the most common food sources trout see during the winter in all of our New Jersey freestone streams.

As with our other selections, some of these patterns are our own design, some are standards. All patterns are producers and in most cases have been modified over the years (hook style, custom colors) for the best possible performance.

• 4 Clearcoat Ants Size 14
• 4 Half Stone Nymph Size 14

Our Ken Lockwood Gorge selection of nymphs and wets is made up of six patterns that have accounted for thousands of trout landed throughout the KLG and the greater South Branch. Decades of experience on this water has led us to narrow our selection down to these six patterns - A total of 24 flies!
