Many anglers becomed discouraged when confronted with a high flow or stained water situation. Truth be told, this is one of our faviorite times to fish, and more times than not, it is when our largest fish of the year come to net.

Why? Anytime fish have more water over their head, or can hold in a lie with a broken surface, they are going to feel more comfortable and feed actively. Larger trout, that under normal flows and clarity do the majority of their feeding after dark, will often feel safe enough to do some daytime feeding during the simulated nightime stained water can offer.

The twenty high water flies contained in this selection all have the characteristics you want when the water is up. Upsized, weighted, and tied with materials that both reflect light and push water.
