New Jersey Winter Trout Selection

The New Jersey Winter Trout Selection is comprised of five flies we would not want to be without during the winter season(November thru March). Trout do continue to actively feed throughout the winter and these five patterns do a great job of imitating the most common food sources trout see during the winter in all of our New Jersey freestone streams.

As with our other selections, some of these patterns are our own design, some are standards. All patterns are producers and in most cases have been modified over the years (hook style, custom colors) for the best possible performance.

NJ Winter Trout Selection includes:

• 4 B&B Midge Larva (size 16)
• 4 Olive Caddis Larva (size 14)
• 4 Early Black Stone (size 12)
• 4 Trutta Tartare (trout sized Glo-Bug)
• 4 February Red Soft-Hackle (size 14)

Included with your collection is an information sheet which discusses each of the patterns, including presentation techniques and prime times to fish each pattern.
